London Future Market Review - is it scam or safe?

London Future Market Review - is scam or good forex broker?

RATING: 1 / 2 REVIEWS London Future Market
London Future Market is an offshore broker. Your money is not safe.

Trading Accounts and Conditions

Trading account Min. deposit Max. leverage Spread
Classic $1 000 1:100 0.6 pips + (commission?)
Silver $5 000 N/A N/A
Gold $20 000 N/A N/A
Platinum $25 000 N/A N/A
VIP $50 000 N/A N/A

London Future Market offers five account types but has not disclosed any essential trading conditions, other than the initial investment required. More importantly, the broker is not overseen by any authority, which is the main reason why we cannot recommend it. Below, you may find all issues regarding London Future Market, along with a few possible benefits, provided that the broker is not a scam.

London Future Market Advantages

Solid leverage, seemingly good spreads

We had to open a live trading account with London Future Market, in order to sneak peek into its platform and see the leverage provided and the spreads offered. It turned out that the spread on EUR/USD is around 0.6 pips, so we suppose that some commission also applies.

That being said, there are a number of well-established and licensed brokers that offer attractive spreads. You’d better check them out instead of risking it with offshore companies like London Future Market.

We also saw that London Future Market provides solid leverage levels, up to 1:100, which will suffice the needs of most traders. Yet, keep in mind that many jurisdictions have capped the leverage available to retail clients to lower levels. This is due to the fact that higher leverage involves greater risk.

Activ8 platform

Created by the developer of Sirix (Leverate), ACTIV8 is a solid choice of a trading platform. It is equipped with variety of analytical tools, nice charts, ‘Strategies’ category that provides an array of EA/bots, and incorporated external market analysis.

Huge selection of assets, many coins

Another possible advantage of this broker is its rich product portfolio. London Future Market offers trading in around 50 major, minor & exotic currency pairs and various CFDs – on indices, commodities, precious metals, stocks, and wide range of cryptocurrencies.

London Future Market Disadvantages

Not regulated, blacklisted by CONSOB

London Future Market claims to be owned and operated by A Corp Ltd., an International Business Company incorporated in Saint Vincent and Grenadines (SVG).

Forex brokers in this offshore zone are not licensed, nor overseen by any authority. In fact, offshore zones such as the SVG are attractive for scam companies and those seeking to cut financial and regulatory corners. Needless to say, offshore brokers are not allowed to operate on regulated financial markets like the EU, USA, Canada, Japan. Nonetheless, many of them, including London Future Market, illegally provide their services in such regulated jurisdictions.

The fact tha broker was blacklisted by the Italian financial regulator, CONSOB, is yet another red flag regarding this broker. We generally advise investors to avoid offshore brokers and do business with properly regulated financial services providers. There are certain financial agencies which struggle to put some certainty in the decentralized FX market in their jurisdiction. Money rules such as client account segregation, transaction reporting and minimum capital requirements are set in the Australia, UK, Cyprus, among others.

Trading conditions not disclosed, no demo accounts

Another worrisome sigh regarding London Future Market is that the broker’s website has not disclosed any essential trading parameters, other than the spreads, leverage provided, and even the trading platform it uses. Furthermore, the brokerage does not offer free demo accounts, so we can safely conclude that London Future Market is not transparent at all regarding its services and pricing.

Information is some pretty solid criteria for judging a broker’s legitimacy. Scammers would not share much of information on trading conditions, because they are afraid that some inconsistencies and irregularities may appear and expose the whole set-up.

MetaTrader not supported

Although Acriv8 is a decent forex trading platform, it still cannot be compared with the industry leading MetaTrader4 (MT4). The MT4 is a perfectly equipped trading terminal that allows you to trade in the financial markets with ease of use. It provides the necessary tools and resources to analyze price dynamics of financial instruments, make the trade transactions, and create and use automated trading strategies (Expert Advisors).

Excessive minimum deposit required

It seems that one has to deposit at least $1 000 with London Future Market in order to trade live which is pretty excessive. Most forex brokers require something in the range of $100 - $250 as a start, including well-established and regulated companies.

London Future Market is an offshore broker that is not transparent about its services and pricing, which makes it utterly unreliable as a trading partner. All in all, traders should direct themselves to better trading options to which we have linked throughout this review.

Here is a summary of our review of London Future Market:

Pros Cons
Solid leverage, seemingly good spreads No financial regulation
Activ8 platform Trading conditions not disclosed
Huge selection of assets, many coins MetaTrader not supported
  No demo accounts
  Excessive minimum deposit required
