Ripple (XRP) Exchanges

Ripple is a digital currency (XRP) and an open payment network, within which the XRP token is transferred. It´s a an open-source payment system, focused on working with banks, and we all know currently banks and cryptos don’t go hand in hand.

By the time of writing this, Ripple (XRP) is third-largest digital currency by market cap, after Bitcoin and Ethereum.  Actually, Ripple's price rose more than 1000% in December 2017 alone, surpassing Ethereum and  becoming the second-largest for a little while.

Therefore, this token also enjoys increasing interest from retail traders. Lately, most of them have been wondering where to buy it. Of course, the most popular way is registering on a cryptocurrency exchange that supports it. Actually, many of the exchanges worldwide offer trading in Ripple, but Binance, Kraken, Coinone, Bithumb, Korbit, Gaste.io, Bitfinex, Bittrex, Huobi, Poloniex and BitStamp (which has a special Ripple gateway) seem to be among the most liquid XRP markets.

Besides, there are other exchanges, whose trading volumes are not that impressive, but they either offer only trading against Ripple or place a special focus on it: GateHub, Mr. Exchange, RippleFox, Ripple China and others. These platforms support more XRP pairs.

Another popular way to get some XRP is to buy Bitcoin and then exchange it to Ripple.

In addition, you can trade in Ripple with forex brokers, which is slightly different from the offering of crypto-exchanges. Yet, many of the brokerages are licensed by the respective financial authorities, while most exchanges are not regulated. Besides, with forex brokers you don’t have to mess about with digital wallets, long alphanumeric addresses and confusing platforms with no advanced features.
