HotForex Adds USD/RUB to Lineup of Currency Pairs

HotForex, the Forex brand of HF Markets Europe Limited, today announced the addition of one more currency pair - the USD/RUB (US Dollar vs Russian Ruble) - to its lineup of trading instruments.

The new instrument can already be traded on the Metatrader 4 platform, which is supported by the broker. It will be available for all clients of the broker who use the MT4, apart from owners of FIX accounts. This means that holders of Micro, Premium and VIP accounts can now make use of the trading pair, which has been experiencing some steep changes in its price in tune with the increased market volatility accompanying the crisis in Ukraine.

And while we talk about the volatility we cannot skip the fact this has opened many new trading possibilities and has made the pair way more attractive to the Forex world. To respond to traders' demand for this trading instrument, many brokers have added it to their lists of trading products. One such recent example is Australia's IC Markets, while FxPro has extended the RUB crosses offering by making them available on cTrader too.

Obviously, trading with RUB pairs is gathering speed and the next step would be heightened competition amid Forex brokers to offer the most lucrative conditions for these instruments. For that matter, we should mention that HotForex offers trading with USD/RUB with variable spreads - the typical spread is at 35 pips, which seems rather high to me, especially when compared with the ultra low spreads provided by FxPro on MT4 and cTrader.

To trade on MT4 with HotForex you need only $50 in case you opt for a Micro account. This choice comes along with variable spreads (from 1 pip on majors like EUR/USD), as well as a lump maximum leverage of 1:1000. The ability to trade with micro lots (0.01 of the standard lot) is also a plus. The new pair makes a nice addition to the list of trading instruments that HotForex offers on MT4 - this list now includes 44 of the most liquid Forex instruments.
