Tickmill jumps the Bitcoin bandwagon

Hardly a day goes by, without a forex broker joining the Bitcoin mania and starting to instruments involving digital currencies. Today’s news is about the global NDD brokerage Tickmill, which announced it is adding the most popular cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, to its trading instrument list. It can be traded against the USD, 24/5.

Tickmill offers a margin of 1:20, no commission and a maximum number of open positions: 100. The tick size and tick value stand at 0.01 USD. Trading is done on the popular MetaTrader 4 platform.

The majority of forex brokers are offering CFDs on the cryptocurrencies, which means client cannot hold tokens, but rather can speculate on the price movements. It appears Tickmill is also offering CFDs, even though it does not become clear initially.

Other forex brokers who recently started offering CFDs on Bitcoin (and some other bigger digital currencies) are easyMarkets, RoboForex, ThinkMarkets, FXOpen, HYCM, IG, FXTM, Grand Capital, Fibo Group, JFD Brokers, to name a few.

Tickmill was established in 2014. It is licensed by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) of the Seychelles and by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

It is an electronic communication network (ECN) and no-dealing desk (NDD) broker, which offers trading in diverse financial instruments, including currency pairs, CFDs, stocks, indices, commodities, and precious metals. The company has strong presence in in key markets in Asia, the Middle East and Africa and is planning expansion into Europe, thanks to its FCA license.
