Vaha Trade Advantages:

Solid license

As we already noted Vaha Trade and the company behind it - Vaha Trade EOOD, is licensed and authorized by the Bulgarian Financial Supervision Commission (FSC).

A license granted by an official EU regulator such as the Bulgarian Financial Supervision Commission (FSC) is a legit certificate that ensures the safety of your funds and the proper conduct of your broker.

The FSC requirements are no different than those of such renowned institutions like the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK, the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) or BaFin in Germany.

All brokers regulated in Bulgaria are obliged to hold a minimum operational capital of at least 730 000 EUR, to provide their clients with a negative balance protection, to keep their funds in a segregated, protected form creditors, trust account, to file regular reports, to allow external audits and to participate in a client compensation fund, that guarantees the first 20 000 EUR in your account, even if your broker files for bankruptcy.

Good selection of trading instruments

When we tested Vaha Trade trading platform we counted 44 currency pairs, many of which minor or exotic like USDMXN, USDHUF, USDZAR, USDPLN, USDCZK, USDNOK, USDDKK, USDCNH, USDSEK, USDHKD, USDSGD and USDTRY. And there were also CFDs on oil, natural gas, gold, silver and five major indices. However, as no crypto assets were immediately available, here you may also check our list of brokers trading with bitcoin CFDs:

>>Bitcoin Forex Brokers<<

You can start trading with just 100 USD

The minimum deposit requirement with Vaha Trade seems fine, bearing in mind that most brokers ask for about 250 USD. Sill, we should note that some big well established intermediaries like FBS and IG do not have a minimum deposit requirement at all.

Professional traders can use leverage as high as 1:500

The leverage offered by Vaha Trade to retail traders is in line with the requirements of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), which capped the maximum leverage allowed with forex transactions at 1:30. Still, professional traders at Vaha Trade can enjoy leverage as high as 1:500.

Vaha Trade accepts payments with Neteller and Skrill

Vaha Trade accepts various payment methods, including major cards like VISA and MasterCard, bank wire and several e-wallets among which Neteller and Skrill. The broker does not seem to accept payments with bitcoins, however, so here you may also check our list of brokers, where you can pay with bitcoins:

MetaTrder4 supported

Vaha Trade offers its clients the MetaTrder4 – a highly reliable trading platform, preferred by many professional and beginner traders alike. The platform features an excellent set of advanced charting tools, user friendly interface as well as nearly a hundred customizable market indicators and trading robots, with the help of which you can easily run algorithmic trading sessions. So here you may also check our list of brokers, which also support the MetaTrader4:

Vaha Trade Disadvantages:

High spreads

When we tested Vaha Trade trading platform with a demo account, the benchmark EURUSD spread appeared to be fixed at 2,2 pips, which is a bit higher than what traders would usually consider attractive with a standard account. We personally like spreads starting below 1,5 pips, of course without a trading commission, so here you may check our list of brokers, offering tighter spreads:

>> Lowest spread forex brokers<<

Still, we should note that Vaha Trade offers fixed spreads, which are considered better than the variable spreads and there is no trading commission.

Vaha Trade  is a properly regulated broker, authorized to offer financial services in the European Union and several other countries in the region. Another positive point is that they offer the MetaTrader4, which is a highly reliable trading platform, as well as a fine variety of forex pairs and CFDs. On the negative side we should note that their spreads are somewhat higher, but still our overall assessment of the broker is good.
