, a Cyprus-licensed forex broker, has launched a web-based version of the MetaTrader 4 (MT4) trading platform. The new version allows clients to trade through the most popular web browsers without the need to install any programs.
The broker already carries downloadable software (for Windown and Mac) and mobile versions (for Android and iOS) of the MT4 platform, as well as the FX Arena web platform.
The long awaited web-based version of the MT4 platform was released in September. Since then, it has been constantly updated with new features. The interface of the web platform is easy to use and similar to that of the desktop version.
MT4 Web platform interface is not much different from the desktop version
Earlier this week, MetaQuotes announced it has made improvements to the MetaTrader 4 web platform and has added new functions to it. It has added to the web version of the platform the ability to set chart properties, such as color scheme selection, display of the Ask line, period separators, volumes, and has also made available a full-screen mode and an option to delete account data at the end of a session. Moreover, the platform is now available in seven languages - English, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, German, Portuguese, and Spanish, and more are expected to be added soon.
At the time of its launch, the MT 4 web platform did not allow the registration of trading account and only allowed existing users to log in to their accounts.
