ThinkForex Rewards You With Bonuses for Referring You Friends

Jun 28 2013

Just as it introduced its new account types, the Australian broker ThinkForex has come up with a neat little plan to popularize them: it is launching a referral program, where traders can get some extra cash for inviting their friends and family to the brokerage.

The conditions of the Refer-A-Friend program are pretty straightforward: you invite a trader to ThinkForex, and if the person you have invited signs up and deposits at least 1,000 currency units, you get a $100 cash bonus into your account. And that's not all – the friend you have recruited also  gets $100 to top up their equity.

But wait, there's more – to thank you for helping it attract new clients, ThinkForex will add a special perk to your Refer-A-Friends bonus: for every successful referral, a bottle of wine will be delivered to your home via a courier, compliments of the broker. You can then enjoy the wine with the friends you have recruited, or by yourself (but keep in mind that this is borderline alcoholism, and remember that sharing is caring!).

“We are deeply committed building long term relationships with all our traders, and our new Refer-A-Friend program is just another step towards the ultimate goal of becoming the leading Forex and CFD broker in Australia,” said Nauman Anees, managing director, ThinkForex. “We are pleased to be offering our Live Accounts the opportunity to refer friends and family to ThinkForex, and be rewarded at their efforts.”

In order to refer a friend, you should simply fill in a designated form on ThinkForex's website, then wait for your fiends to open an account and fund it with 1,000 currency units (with this broker, you can open an account in US, Australian, Canadian and New Zealand dollars, as well as in Euro, British Pounds and Swiss Francs; Japanese yen is also supported but the deposit requirement for it might be higher due to exchange rates – make sure to ask your account manager for this). When this is done, simply shoot an email to [email protected] to claim your bonus, which will be credited to your balance within 30 days.

There is no limit on the number of Refer-A-Friend bonuses you can get – you'll get your rewards for each of them, and that's a great way to make some extra profit on top of your trading. There are, however, certain restrictions applicable to the program: for example, you can't move the referral bonuses you get between different live accounts – they're only valid for the account you entered when inviting your friends. Another restriction is that accounts registered under an introducing broker or an affiliage are not eligible for the bonus.
