Get iPad Mini and up to $1000 Bonus With AvaFX's New Promo

Have you ever noticed how often when you open a website, the first thing you see is a big, flashing banner proclaiming “Win an iPad without lifting a finger!” or something of the sort? And, of course, if you do make the mistake of clicking on the banner, it turns out to be a scam or something. Well, now there is an actual chance to win an iPad mini from the comfort of your own home, courtesy of the Irish broker AvaFX

So, here's the deal. You have until March 31, 2013 to open up a new account with AvaFX and fund it, once your details have been verified. Depending on the size of your initial deposit, you will get a bonus. From that point on, you have 12 months to trade and clear your bonus before you can withdraw it. You will have to trade a minimum volume of 10,000 base instrument for every bonus dollar, and at least 50% of these volumes must be traded during the first six months after receiving the bonus.

But what about the iPad mini, you ask. Well, it is available instead of a bonus (or as an addition to it), depending on your initial deposit. As you can see in the table below, however, you'll need to fund your account with at least $2,000 in order to get it.

Of course, there is not such thing as a free lunch, and there are several things to consider before rushing off to join the promotion. Probably the most important one is the spread. The average AvaFX spread for EURUSD, for example, 1.8 pips. This means that if you decide to go for the $500 bonus, for example, and have to trade 10,000 per ever $1 (as per the bonus requirements), you will spend $900 on the spread... which kind of puts things in a different perspective. After all, it would be cheaper to just buy the iPad mini, if that's all you're looking for. However, if you've decided to trade anyway, you'll be paying that extra money whatever you do, so you can ignore the extra cost an enjoy your new Apple gadget.

Something else to take note of is the fact that certain countries can only take part by wire transfer: Vietnam, China, Pakistan, and Egypt. Also, the promotion is not available for Ayondo and Currensee customers. But, don't worry – if for some reason you decide this bonus is not for you, there are other options to get your hands on some Apple stuff. Brokers ThinkForex and Aplari, for example, are also offering iPads and MacBook Airs as part of their promotions. Whichever promo you choose, just don't forget to check all the requirements first!
