But as of Monday (April 17th), binary options on EUR/USD can be traded for 10 minutes.
This is a very wise of the broker as it reflects the high volatility accompanying this very popular currency pair. In addition, many traders shun long-term binary options and instead target short-term moves in prices.
I know what you're thinking right now – well, this period of time is not so short, in fact, it cannot even be compared to expiry times of Turbo options of meager 15 seconds. We should have in mind though that Hirose UK is a subsidiary of Japanese Forex broker Hirose Tusyo Inc and this comes along with a certain business ethos. When it comes to trading, the Japanese differentiate it strictly from gambling, so any excessiveness like the one related to Turbo options must stay away from the legitimate, normal trading. For that matter, expiry times of 10 minutes and 60 minutes are acceptable and seconds are not.
One more trading opportunity added to the new platform is the ability to purchase an option up to 3 minutes before the expiry of the contract. And this also gives traders plenty of time to assess whether they want to purchase an instrument or give up a given trade.
