FXTM partners with BASE jumping world record holder Valery Rozov

FXTM (ForexTime), a CySEC-regulated forex broker announced it has teamed up with Valery Rozov – a renown Red Bull BASE jumper. The common project is called #FXTMbasejump and will see Rozov traveling across the world to perform a series of unique jumps and setting never-before-seen milestones.

“The need to push your limits is essential for success, both in the world of extreme sports and financial business, which is why FXTM is the perfect partner for my latest project,” Rozov said. “FXTM’s commitment to going beyond what is expected and seeking cutting-edge solutions is in line with my approach to BASE jumping. Working together on #FXTMbasejump project is going to be a great experience.”

“FXTM and Valery share a mutual passion for redefining existing standards,” said Olga Rybalkina, CEO of FXTM. By supporting Valery in his latest aspiration we want to reflect the support and dedication we provide to our clients and we want this partnership to serve as inspiration for our traders to take their experience to greater heights,” Rybalkina added.

BASE jumping is an extreme and spectacular sport practiced by jumping with a wingusit or a parachute from a fixed structure like a tall building, a bridge or a cliff. It gained popularity through numerous action movies where the characters perform such jumps, but is considered far more dangerous than skydiving from a plane, because it is performed at a much lower altitude.

Valery Rozov was born in 1964 and throughout his extreme career has performed more than 11 000 skydives and jumps. Since May 2013 he is the holder of the world record for highest BASE jump – from a 7220 m peak on the north face of Mount Everest. He has also jumped from Europe's highest peak – Elbrus (5642) and into an active volcano in Kamchatka. The future plans of Rozov include jumping from unusual places in Hong Kong, Nigeria, Indonesia and the UAE.

FXTM was established in 2011. It offers trading in more than 100 instruments, including forex, spot metals, and contracts for difference (CFDs). It serves retail and institutional clients alike. The broker has adopted the world’s most popular trading platforms – MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5). Its clients can choose to open Standard and Cent accounts, or one of four ECN account types.
