FXTM Continues with No-Swap Promo, Offers Generous Rebates

Forex Time, or FXTM, the Cyprus-based Forex broker, is marking the start of the new year with a bang: a bunch of exciting offers are available for the company's clients, including a prolonged promotion for swap-free trading and a new offer for hefty rebates.

Those of you who are interested in FXTM ants its menu of offers are perhaps aware of the swap-free promo, which is also known as the Over-the-weekend (OTW) account incentive. The broker first introduced the service in June 2013 and, due to its popularity amid traders, has extended its duration a number of times. The beginning of 2014 gave the company one more occasion to prolong the promotion and it will be in effect until March 31, 2014.

For those not familiar with the terms and conditions, let's give some details. The OTW account can be an account of the following types: Fixed Spread Standard, Cent Standard, as well as ECN Zero Amanah. The difference between the first two and the last account type is not only in the label “ECN” but also in the type of order execution (instant/market), the size of the spreads and the commissions, so make sure to check the conditions in detail so that they suit your needs.

The essence of the promo is that all traders who open an OTW account within the designated period enjoy trading without swaps during the working week (Monday to Friday). This comes at the expense of commissions (calculated per 0.01 lots) charged for all open positions each Friday from 23:59:30 to 23:59:59 (GMT+3). The size of the commissions is specified in the table below, in case you'd like to indulge in some math and calculate how much you'll have to pay.

The no-swaps promo, however, does not exhaust the list of generous offers from the broker: only a couple of days ago, FXTM started an incentive for its most active clients. Traders who deposit at least USD/EUR 500 this month in their live FXTM accounts will get a rebate of 200% and a top-up to their deposit of as much as USD/EUR 10,000. The rebate is USD 2 per each traded lot, so if one pumps USD/EUR 2,000 in an account,  the broker will reward this trader with USD/EUR 4,000.

Apparently, FXTM started 2014 rather actively: we expect to see more of this spirit throughout the year.
