ForexTime, or FXTM
, the Cypriot Forex broker, has just removed the commissions for trading with contracts for difference (CFDs), substantially lowering transaction costs and improving trading conditions for its clients.
The offer, active from November 12, will last until May 2014 – at least that's the initial intention. It will allow traders to trade commission-free with all:
- Share CFDs. These include more than 50 such instruments, including CFDs on shares in companies like Facebook and Apple. Fans of logistics would perhaps enjoy trading with CFDs on FedEx shares. The minimum spreads start from 3 pips – they are at this level for the CFDs on shares in Yahoo! Inc, for example.
- ETF CFDs: Traders can profit from trading with CFDs on Nasdaq-100 Index Tracking Stock and the like would be happy in this respect.
- CFDs on Commodity Futures: Gold, Silver, etc. The spread for Gold is 5 pips.
- CFDs on Index Fund Futures: FTSE 100, etc.
To make use of this no-commission offer, you need to have a Standard account with the broker, which comes along without a requirement for an initial deposit and the ability to trade on Metatrader 4
CFDs are a very lucrative trading opportunity for those of you who seek to diversify their trading portfolios – you can actually profit from the difference in buy and sell prices of certain assets, without owning these assets.
