New Web Trader Available at FxPro's

Cypriot broker FxPro has just officially released its brand new, shiny web trader, powered by the Panda TS forex trading solutions provider (we already mentioned the web trader last week when reporting about Quant - another new service of the broker's).

The new web trader is already up and running and traders can use it both with live and demo accounts. As usual, I played with it for a while and here is my initial impression.

The technical characteristics of the platform are pretty standard, here are its main features:
- Opening a position with the web trader and closing it within the desktop MT4 version, and vice versa;
- Access from any PC, Mac or Linux workstation;
- Integrated web-based charting; and
- No download required.

As I said, nothing special.

The interface is fairly simple and even a newbie will only need a few seconds to figure out how to use the web trader. There's an instrument list on the left, and there's also a favorites tab for quicker access on it. The account information (margin, equity, etc.) is clearly displayed in upper part of the screen, above the charts.

Speaking of charts, these come in three main styles – bar, line and candlestick – and seven time frames ranging from 1 minute to 1 day. Frankly, I would prefer to have access to longer chart time frames like at least a week or a month but well, that's what Panda TS has to offer. Another thing I would have appreciated is the ability to open more than one chart at once, which is currently not possible but on the plus side, loading a chart is super simple – you just need to open the drop-down menu on top of the chart and then select the trading instrument of your liking.

The technical analysis tools is quite comprehensive and I'm sure that every technical trader will appreciate it. Fundamental traders are not neglected either – they just need to click on the respective icon in the upper right corner of the screen, and FxPro's news feed or calendar will pop up right away.

Placing an order is quite simple: you can choose between one-click and regular mode (in which case you'll have to click twice to open your position). To close an open order, or set a stop loss/take profit, just double click on the trade in the “Open Positions” section of the screen (just below the chart) and perform the preferred action on the pop-up window that will appear.

All in all, I find FxPro's new web trader to be quite easy to use, which is particularly good for beginners – not that advanced traders wouldn't be happy with an intuitive and user-friendly trading platform.
