FBS, the Forex broker famous for giving its clients plenty of opportunities to test their trading skills, has just opened the registration process for the latest contest of the FBS Pro series. Although the contest is done with virtual funds, you stand to win some nice real cash prizes.
The registration process lasts until April 21, 2014 (11:59:59 GMT+3) and all you should do is open a special demo account for the contest, which will be funded with $10,000 of virtual capital. The competition itself lasts from April 21, 2014 (12:00:00 GMT+03:00) until May 21, 2014 (16:00:00 GMT+03:00) – you should not start trading on the demo account before that. Your aim is to trade as profitably as possible during the competition, because the five traders that finish the race with the highest account balances will get some lucrative cash prizes.
The prize pool of the FBS Pro contest is $1,000, with the rewards to be allocated as follows:
1st Place: $450;
2nd Place: $250;
3rd Place: $150;
4th Place: $100;
5th Place: $50.
The prize funds will be transferred to the winners' live Micro accounts – from there they can be used for trading or they can be withdrawn. The latter option, however, requires that for at least 20 consecutive days the trader closes at least one trade per day. The good bit of news is that there are no requirements for the volume of the trade.
You can read more about the contest and register for it at this
page.
By the way, since we've mentioned Micro accounts, let's note that FBS offers traders to open such accounts with a minimum deposit of meager $5 and then get $5 as a bonus. With such accounts you can make use of trade contract size as small as one
micro lot, leverage of up to 1:1000 and low variable spreads starting from 1 pip (for the EUR/USD pair).
