FBS Rolls Out a New Demo Contest: Win Up to $450

Yesterday, Panama-based forex brokerage, FBS, fired the starting pistol on its brand new one-month demo contest which has already attracted some 3,600 people from various ends of the world. The competition will run until May 17, 22:59:59 GMT+2 and will bring the most talented of participants up to $450 in prizes.

This latest challenge comes just a few weeks after the broker's previous March $999 Demo competition concluded, making three traders happier and a few hundred dollars richer. Next month, the lucky winners will be five but the prize fund remains the same so individual awards will be a bit smaller. As with all other contests of the kind, your ultimate goal if you decide to join in would be to end the trading period with the highest account balance possible, ideally the highest among all other traders. Getting started is simple – go to your Personal Area and open a separate demo-contest account which FBS will then credit with an initial balance of $10,000 and leverage of 1:100. You're only allowed to open one such trading space and using it after the competition has ended is prohibited. If the broker detects any suspicious activity, like a matching IP address on two different contest accounts or the use of proxies or other software meant to modify your computer's real IP address, you'll be disqualified. For those who have no intention of engaging in such dubious practices, though, and simply want to demonstrate the best of their trading, here are the prizes you'll be running for:
1st Prize: $450
2nd Prize: $250
3rd Prize: $150
4th Prize: $100
5th Prize: $50
Being one of contestants who hold the highest deposits by May 17, will guarantee you a monetary reward, one that corresponds to your rank in the leading five. Prizes will be transferred to a real Micro account but to be able to withdraw the money, winners will have to meet one further requirement. FBS asks that you execute at least one full trade per day, meaning open-close transaction, for a period of one month or 20 trading days. Only then you'll be able to cash out, using any payment method, including FBS's most recently added service – DIXIPAY. For those who fail to do as described, after the first month has elapsed, their winnings will not be cancelled but a new 20-day count will be started all over again.
