EXNESS Offers Market Execution of FX Orders on Classic, Mini Accounts

Russia-based Forex broker EXNESS has just announced that it now offers market execution of orders on its Mini and Classic accounts. Before the change, market execution of orders was available only on the ECN accounts with the broker and the owners of Mini and Classic accounts had to rely on instant execution.

But after receiving numerous requests from traders on extending the reach of market execution, the broker has decided to implement it on the two quite popular types of accounts too. Owners of Mini and Classic accounts can now easily make use of market execution as long as they choose currency pairs having a "k" suffix in the MT4 terminal, for example EUR/USDk. The number of pairs you can pick from is 36, not bad (for a start).

I bet that many of you wonder what is the rationale behind so many client requests for market execution instead of instant execution: “instant” sounds a lot better, right? But the situation is not that simple. In fact, both types of execution have their advantages and drawbacks, and I would warmly advise you to check the full picture before deciding whether to place an order using the market or instant execution.

In the field of FX, “instant” means “precise”, and hence the broker may either execute the order at the precise price requested by you or not execute the order at all. Moreover, you set “take profit” and “stop loss” when you enter the order. And this is crucial for a strategy like scalping, when the execution of an order at the requested price is really important. Instant execution is also rather suitable for traders who cannot look at their orders being processed without a preset “stop loss” level.

Market execution, somewhat awkwardly implies faster processing of your orders. This is partially because the order may not be executed by the broker at the precise price requested, but at a market price. The drawback stems from the possibility that sometimes, especially during periods of volatility, the market price is very far away from what you've requested. This may lead to great profits and great losses.

If you're a fan of market execution and you wonder for which of the two types of accounts to opt for, let me remind you that the minimum deposit for Mini accounts is $100 and that for Classic ones is $10,000. The maximum leverage for Classic accounts is 1:400, while owners of Mini accounts can make use of leverage as high as 1:2000. Choice is yours.
