eToro takes ETFs to a next level of Copy Trading

Innovative forex broker and social trading network eToro launched a new investment service called CopyFunds, which takes exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to a whole new level.

ETFs allow traders to invest in a whole sector or market trend, not just in one company or commodity. In order to make them even more accessible and appealing to investors, eToro has improved its ETFs offering under the CopyFunds concept, which is diversified. Investors are able to select from two types of investments –  Top Traders CopyFunds, and Market CopyFunds.

Top Traders CopyFunds is based on a traders portfolio, including the best performers, while Market CopyFunds is asset-based, comprising market strategies for trading in various assets, determined in advance (ETFs, currency pairs, CFDs, stocks, indices, or commodities).

CopyFunds operates like multiple traders, all working for you at the same time to help minimize long-herm risk. It serves as a more conservative medium- or long-term investment method. Of course, investors can claim their money back at any moment at market price.

What is more, there are no management fees associated with investing in CopyFunds. However, there is a minimum investment required of $5,000 and the underlying financial transactions initiated by a CopyFund incur eToro’s spreads.

eToro added exchange traded funds (ETFs) to its product portfolio in December 2015, which was a big step forwards at that time.

eToro is an innovative forex trading service offering both traditional and social trading in multiple assets. With the launch of their OpenBook social investment platform in 2010 eToro introduced the concept of social trading to the world in 2010. Now the brand is active in more than 170 countries worldwide and serves over 4 500 000 registered traders.

The companies behind the eToro brand are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC).
