Two New Platforms for Binary Options Trading on the Go

Jan 22 2013
By
As we recently reported, trading from a mobile device accounts for 10% of FXCM's trading volumes. Given that FXCM is the world's biggest broker, this number is quite significant and confirms the potential of mobile trading.

Catching that trend, most forex brokers offer comprehensive and sophisticated mobile trading applications – and now it's time for binary options brokers to get on that wave as well.

Earlier today two of the more popular binary options solutions providers, SpotOption and Tradesmarter, have both announced the release of their mobile platforms for binary options.

SpotOption's mobile trading app is available for iPhone, iPad and Android devices. It promises to replicate the web-based binary options platform in terms of functionality and feel. The app features live, dynamic charts and lets traders deposit money into their accounts without the need of logging into the web platform – and speaking of the latter, the same login details are used for both platforms. Trading is made as simple as possible, and users have access to their full account history.

The mobile trading platform is already available for free download at the Apple and Android stores. The first binary broker to introduce it is OptionRally.

SpotOption CEO Pini Peter says: “We are thrilled to be the first binary options platform to execute the mobile application and we are looking forward to seeing the results OptionRally is sure to bring. We are committed to providing convenient and superior technology, and as a majority of traders want fast and accessible trading, we believe that the iPhone application is the wave of the future”.

Tradesmarter, on the other hand, have opted for a less exclusive cross platform application (as opposed to SpotOption's native one), built using HTML5. This allows for more flexibility, since the platform can be accessed via devices of various operating systems. The mobile app is an extension to their Tradesmarter 2.0 platform, and does not require the download of additional software for each devise used.

The new app allows for full customization by binary brokers, and lets them optimize their business through lead generation and conversion. Traders, on the other hand, will be able to enjoy a simple, yet efficient trading software which allows them to view available assets and current price, and to execute and monitor trades on the go.
