More Forex Basics: AvaTrade Launches Hush Trade Portal

AvaTrade, the Dublin-based Forex broker, has made a step towards training foreign exchange traders via the launch of Hush Trade, a website dedicated exclusively to education in online trading.

Launching such a service is always a good idea for a broker, as it instantly make it appear friendlier to traders: it's like saying “welcome” to the newbies in the Forex industry. This is highlighted by the New to Trading section, which includes information which would be useful especially to newcomers to the Forex field. We see a list of videos, webinars and articles on fundamental topics about online trading.  Those of you who are more advanced in trading would better skip this material: it's not unnecessary but you'd probably get really bored while reading one more piece about what major, minor and exotic pairs are.

Those who'd like to get to the bottom of things and tap the knowledge of professionals have to have real accounts with AvaTrade and to become Premium users of Hush Trade. These lucky students will have access to Premium content offered exclusively by Jimmy Young, with more than 20 years of experience in Forex trading, and by Erkut Ozer – with more than 14 years of experience in commodities trading. These two traders will offer videos on topics ranging from “Finding value using the 78.6% retracement” and “Understanding the Gartley Pattern” to “Market volume as a key price driver”. The list of topics is very intriguing and it's obvious that those having access to Premium content will get to learn very interesting stuff.

The broker insists that the move is prompted not only by its desire to offer intriguing information about the Forex world but also to make its clients more profitable. This remains to be seen, however.

AvaTrade now joins a growing group of brokers that have started offering online education resources: these include FXCM, FXPro, Interactive Brokers and OANDA. And while we appreciate the new service by AvaTrade, we'd like to voice a personal recommendation to the broker. It would be good to offer some materials on binary options too. This will definitely make the website stand out.
