Anyoption Reassures Clients of Its Regulation

Aug 05 2013

Last week the binary options broker anyoption published an official press release that the company  is fully regulated in the European Union because of its CySEC license and its compliance with the EU's Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID). Congratulating the broker would be a bit ridiculous, though, as its CySEC authorization has been active since December 2012. Naturally, one could ask themselves the logical question why has the company decided to announce its regulation to the press at this moment exactly.

A lot has been happening in the world of binary options trading lately. Japan and Malta have both introduced new regulations on binary trading, Italy banned the service altogether, and US traders are offered a very, very limited choice of binary brokers. With this said, it is my guess that customers are having doubts about trading binaries, and brokers are can probably seeing a backflow in client activity. It is also possible that binary brokers are simply being proactive, setting their clients' minds at peace.

Whatever the reason anyway, it's good to know that anyoption and its proprietary trading platform are joining the troops of Tradologic- and Spotoption-powered brokerages, becoming a well regulated company whose clients have nothing to be concerned about.
