Alpari Launches Mobile App for Fans of Investment Products

Alpari Limited, the Russian business of the global group of Forex brokers Alpari, has just announced the launch of an application that will allow traders to monitor their investments on the go. It's a very useful app, which allows monitoring of accounts' history, allocation of funds and setting of parameters of one's investments.

The new mobile app, called Alpari Invest, will be of help to traders who are dealing with:

- PAMM (also known as percentage allocation management module) accounts: this type of investments offers traders to put certain sums of money into an account managed by a professional and gain a percentage of the total profit.

- Structured Products – these are products that involve various investments, including not only Forex, but also bonds (for instance). Moreover, there is a safe minimum of investment in the structured products that cannot be lost.

- Investment Funds – you can buy whole portfolios invested in international funds.

Currently, the app offers a large amount of PAMM portfolios to select from. From a navigational point of view, the search for an appropriate PAMM offer is hard, as only the best performers are displayed on the screen. There are 10 structured products and 7 investment fund portfolios to choose from.

You may consider this is as a drawback for the popularity of the service but this is not exactly so – even if the take-up for a more innovative product like structured funds is low, PAMM accounts with Alpari are enjoying great interest from traders. In September 2013, the company celebrated the fifth anniversary of the launch of its PAMM service: back then, the broker reported that the turnover from trading with PAMM accounts for the first nine months of 2013 had reached $146.88 billion, while the number of active PAMM offers exceeded 1,500.

What indeed may be a drawback to most traders who'd like to use this service is the fact that it's currently available only for owners of iPhones and iPods and that it's only in Russian. But Alpari's team promises upgrades soon. Fans of Android-based devices would be happy to know that the app would be available for these devices in the second half of 2014.

Meanwhile, the owners of iOS devices can download Alpari Invest for free from the iTunes store
