Abshire-Smith Upgrades VertexFX10 Forex Trading Platform

Abshire-Smith, a British forex and CFD broker, has just released a new trading platform to its customers: VertexFX 10. Quite frankly, we haven’t seen VertexFX 9 or whatever the broker’s clients have been using so far, but the official announcement promises that the new platform is significantly enhanced.

VertexFX 10 is published by Hybrid-Solutions and comes available as desktop, web and mobile versions. It features a number of tools, such as integrated news feed, aggregated tradable prices, more than 85 technical indicators, automated trading, etc.

Traders who are familiar with programming can use the API for the platform, where they can develop plugins on the VTL 10 script language – and can then offer these plugins in the designated store, either for a fee, or free of charge.

I took a peak at the platform demo and my first impression was that it resembles Metatrader 4 (MT4) in look and feel. It’s flexible, easy to customize, and the orders are executed right away. The menu bar can seem a bit cluttered but I guess it simply takes some getting used to. Open positions can be modified, and the spreads are ok (1.4 pips on EUR/USD). My overall impression was that the platform is pretty decent.

“The online-trading environment is evolving at an incredible speed, and this launch shows that Hybrid-Solutions have listened and understand the requirements of its clients and traders alike. The improved functionality and aesthetics enables VertexFX 10 to compete at a global level as a leading proprietary trading platform.  Abshire-Smith is building new relationships to ensure a complete liquidity offering to institutional clients,” said Adam Neal, CEO of Abshire-Smith.

Hybrid-Solutions’ CEO Akram Majed added: “Our dedication to improving technology is continuing with the latest version upgrade for our online trading platform VertexFX 10. With the support of our customers and their feedback, we have taken their demands into consideration to design the new version of VertexFX 10 in more effective and efficient manner. We are glad to see Abshire Smith, the FSA Regulated financial institution presenting the VertexFX 10 in the market and we look forward to see their future growth and a thriving business through this version.”

Abshire-Smith traders can choose betwee the VertexFX10, MT4 and Straticator trading platforms
