France's AMF warned against Bitcoinoie and other unauthorized crypto trading websites

The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) warned the public against 30 crypto trading websites, among which is those of Bitcoinoie. The regulator stated that these websites provide unauthorized online investment services in cryptocurrency derivatives in France.

Bitcoinoie is a CFD broker, focused on the crypto market. Unlike crypto-exchanges for which still there aren’t formal regulations in many jurisdictions, CFD providers have to be licensed as financial services providers in most countries, including in France and on a European level.

The company behind Bitcoinoie, SolutionsCM LTD, is allegedly based in says it is owned and operated by in Bulgaria, but is not regulated by the local Financial Supervision Commission, nor by any other financial agency. Apart from Bitcoinoie, this company operates a number of other brokerage brands - BritonPrice, CryptoFG, Capital 245 Group, Hamilton FE, Lockwood, and probably others. Scammers often change their names and create new websites when the previous ones are flagged as con-artists.
