Weber Finance Review - is it scam or safe?

Weber Finance Review - is scam or good crypto broker?

RATING: 1 / 7 REVIEWS Weber Finance
Weber Finance is an offshore broker. Your money is not safe.

*This is what we saw in the broker’s platform.

After the Bitcoin boom last year it seems that cryptocurrency brokers are springing up like mushrooms after rain. Weber Finance is yet another broker that offers margin trading in a number of coins in the form of Contracts-for-Difference (CFDs) on its web-based platform. In case you are wandering what are CFDs and are they any different to trading coins on an exchange, you can find more information by clicking the link below.

Check out the full review to get all the details about Weber Finance and why we would not recommend this broker.

Weber Finance Advantages

Solid choice of financial instruments, many coins

One of the few good things we could say about WeberFinance is that it offers trading in various CFDs, including on cryptocurrencies, indices, commodities and stocks. As regards cryptocurrencies, the broker has included the most popular ones in its product portfolio - Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dash, Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold, Stellar lumens, Ripple, Monero, Qtum, NEO, EOS, Ethereum Classic, ZCash, Ada and Tron.

Note that the broker does not offer any currency pairs for trade, so you cannot trade Bitcoin against USD or EUR, for example. In case you wish to trade forex and Bitcoin at the same time, check out the link below.

Tight spreads

As most crypto-CFD brokers frequently change their spreads, comparing the costs of trading of such companies is not easy. At the time of writing this review, we the spread on BTC/USDT on Weber Finance’s platform is around $37, which is typical for this type of service.

Meanwhile, real cryptocurrency exchanges charge around 0.20% per trade.

Clear these are CFDs

Before we get to the negatives, we should mention this as a positive. Unlike other shady crypto CFD brokers, Weber Finance specifies that it is offering speculative CFD trading and not access to actual cryptocurrencies, which is provided by real crypto exchanges.

Weber Finance Disadvantages

Company not mentioned, obviously not regulated

When it comes to the legal entity owning Weber Finance, and its headquarters, things seem a bit shady and complicated. First of all, the website of the broker does not mention the name of any company, which is a major red flag. Second, it is not clear where exactly is Weber Finance headquartered. Its website mentions that the company’s central office is in London, an administrative office in Switzerland, and a company address in Sofia, Bulgaria.

As a CFD provider in Bulgaria, Weber Finance should be registered with the local Financial Supervision Commission (FSC), or a similar financial agency in another EU country, but they obviously aren’t. Trading with an unregulated broker is very risky, and many of those are fraudsters, so you’d better not deal with Weber Finance.

Trading conditions not specified, no testing service

On top of the lack of corporate information and financial regulation, the website of Weber Finance does not specify any trading conditions, and that is another major disadvantage. Financial service providers should have transparent pricing and offering, which includes indication of the average spreads, the leverage provided, and so on.

Free demo testing is not available either at Weber Finance, so potential clients do not have any clarity on trading costs and conditions prior to opening a live account with the broker.

“Scamex” platform

We also had to register a real account in order to be able to sneak-peak into Weber Finance’s web-based platform. Actually, the platform itself is not unknown to us – we have reviewed a number of brokers who offer it, and none of them is licensed. All of them are somewhat shady, and some of them have turned out to be scams, so we dubbed this platform “scamex”.

Although the platform is equipped with some technical analysis indicators, it cannot be compared to the good old MetaTrader4, which the majority of forex brokers support.

Only Cards accepted

Weber Finance does not accept payments made by Bank Transfers, Skrill, Paypal, nor crypto deposits in Bitcoin. It only accepts payments via Visa or Mastercard Cards.

Weber Finance is a cryptocurrency CFD broker, whose website fails to provide investors with essential information on the company behind the brand, and the broker’s trading conditions. This, in combination with the unregulated status of Weber Finance make it an unreliable trading partner.

While most crypto-exchanges worldwide are also not regulated, CFD providers in most jurisdictions have to be licensed and monitored by the respective financial regulators. We suggest that you chose some of them, instead of shady brokerages like Weber Finance.

To sum up the strong and weak sides of this broker, once again:

Pros Cons
Solid choice of financial instruments, many coins Company not mentioned, not regulated
Tight spreads Trading conditions not specified, no free testing service
Clear these are CFDs  “Scamex” platform
  Only credit carаs accepted

Cheaters scammer fraud

Markus Reid , Michael Brent all cheats. Do not ever attend and get in their trap.
Big scammers. Anybody who is invested , get in touch with all local police authorities in your country.
Post your messages on internet. So that you save some more innocent investor.
They will be caught and send to jail.
The devil will eat them someday and even their parents will regret giving them birth.
Their wife and kids will too suffer due to ills they have done. These people will never have human life.

Weber Finance: Thieves

Michael Brent lured me into false promises about retrieving the money I lost with Boss Capital (another scam in the binary options market). I was stupid to trust his pertinent claims, and paid up to €5.000 in fees in order to receive €149.000, which never came. And then they vanished. DON'T BELIEVE ANYTHING WEBER TELLS YOU!

weber finance: thieves!

Michael Brent lured me into false promises about retrieving the money I lost with Boss Capital (another scam in the binary options market). I was stupid to trust his pertinent claims, and paid up to €33.000 in fees in order to receive €149.000, which never came. And then they vanished. DON'T BELIEVE ANYTHING WEBER TELLS YOU!

weber finance - Such an obvious scam

Michael Brent from Weber phoned me to say that they had acquired my credit from Magnum Options which I had given up on trying to collect. He said that with regulatory penalties the sum had risen to £156000 and could collect it if I paid lawyers etc.fees of £29000!
Such an obvious scam. Was it worth compromising their reputation?

Claim they could retrieve money from Option company.

Michael Brent a supposed employee of Weber Finance contacted me. He misled me into thinking that his company could obtain my LOST INVESTMENTS from another option company. He called two separate times between 2017 and 2018. I did not get involved with him.
