Real Market Broker is an offshore MT4 broker that offers the account types listed above. Read our thorough and unbiased review of this broker as it will shed some light on its services, and answer the most important question of all - is it safe for traders to invest here?

Real Market Broker Advantages

Trading on MT4, competitive demo spreads

As always, we consider the availability of the well-familiar MetaTrader4 (MT4) as an advantage. This easy to use platform has proved to be reliable, offers one of the best charting packages, in-depth market information, as well as automated trading via Expert Advisors, API connectivity, and more. It can be used as a web platform on any browser, as a desktop download, and as mobile apps.

Real Market Broker has not announced any spreads on its website, but when we tested its MT4 in demo mode, we found the spread on EUR/USD floating around 1.1 pips, which is a competitive pricing.

High leverage

Besides, the broker provides generous leverage levels, reaching 1:400, which is high enough for any trading strategy. While the risk-takers among you will probably enjoy this option, we would advise newbies to educate themselves about the risks involved in margin trading before using high leverage levels.

Real Market Broker Disadvantages

Registered offshore

Real Market Broker is a trading name of Liquidity FX Broker LTD, and is licensed by the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission. The company also operates another brokerage brand - Pure Market Broker.

We feel the need to reiterate that the VFSC has rather lax requirements and practically does not exercise any oversight on “licensed” entities. With no regulatory oversight we can’t be certain about the company behind the operation and whether it will fulfill its obligations towards clients. That said, our experience shows that many of those brokers registered on sunny overseas islands are engaged in fraudulent practices.

Trading costs not announced on website

We always view the lack of essential trading information on any broker’s website as a negative. In the case of Real Market Broker, the broker has not indicated any reference spreads, so its potential clients don’t know what their costs of trading might be. Yet, there are free demo accounts, so this isn’t a big deal.

No CFDs on stocks & cryptocurrencies on demo

This is also not a major flaw, but we decided to mention it nonetheless. When we tested Real Market Broker’s MT4 in demo mode, there were around 30 FX pairs, as well as CFDs on indices, commodities and precious metals available for trade. Yet, we didn’t see any cryptocurrency and stock CFDs, which are quite popular among traders.

Conclusion

On the plus side, Real Market Broker’s spreads, leverage levels offered as well as the trading environment appear all good. However, when it comes to regulation and reliability, this broker doesn’t seem like a credible financial intermediary.

Investing in offshore brokers like Real Market Broker brings a high level of risk – there may be commingling, platform intervention, and every possible kind of investment fraud. That is why we advise our readers to do business with reliable companies, such as the ones regulated by a reputable financial authority in Europe. One of the most popular ones is the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC).
