QcapitalForex Review - is it scam or safe?

QcapitalForex review - Is scam or good forex broker?

RATING: 1 / 1 REVIEWS QcapitalForex
QcapitalForex is not regulated. We cannot guarantee your money is safe.

QcapitalForex is a unregulated binary options broker that claims to be based in New York, UAS. And they offer something they call a “Binary robot software”, which supposedly should trade automatically for you, generating profits on up to 90% of your trades.

Apart from the fact that such offers are highly unrealistic, bear in mind that any broker offering managed accounts, while basically acting as a market maker, is in conflict of interest.

Account type Min. deposit Max. leverage Spreads
Silver Account $500 n/a n/a
Gold Account $3000 n/a n/a
Platinum Account $15 000 n/a n/a

QcapitalForex Advantages:

Various asset classes including an array of crypto coins

Honestly we found it pretty hard to come up with any advantage about QcapitalForex as the information on their web page is pretty scarce and they do not offer a demo account. Still as we understand they are focused on the crypto market and apart form the classic forex pairs they offer lots of crypto coins. Nevertheless, here you may also check our list of brokers, offering bitcoin CFDs:

>>Bitcoin Forex Brokers<<

Website is supported in more than 20 languages

QcapitalForex offer their services in more than 20 languages among which Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Thai, Malay, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish, Polish and Czech.

QcapitalForex Disadvantages:

No regulation, anonymous website

Apart from the fact that QcapitalForex claims to be headquartered in New York, the broker does not bother to tell us the name of the company that operates it. Needless to say the website is not regulated as it should especially in the USA, where the financial oversight is rigorous.

Just have in mind that any company offering brokerage services in the USA should be licensed by the local Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and to be a member of the National Futures Association (NFA).

Besides, the minimum capital requirement for all US regulated brokers is as high as 20 million USD and that can explain the fact only a handful of brokers are actually regulated in the USA.

Managed accounts

We already noted that QcapitalForex is offering to manage the trading accounts of their clients and that is a highly controversial practice, which no legit broker will ever endorse.

Almost all forex and CFD brokers and virtually all binary option brokers are market makers, which means they profit when their clients lose money and vice versa. That is why brokers offering managed accounts, no matter if they say it is done by trading bots or by dedicated professionals, are de facto in conflict of interest, because they simply have the incentive to mismanage your account.

No demo account

You can not open a demo account with QcapitalForex and this is unfortunate as we were not able to check their trading conditions first hand. Just bear in mind that with binary options the payout is considered attractive only above 85%.

And besides binary options bets have been altogether banned on some regulated markets like EU.

Few payment methods

QcapitalForex accepts only bank wire payments and payments with PerfectMoney and bitcoins. No credit cards like VISA and MasterCard are accepted, neither popular e-wallets like Neteller and Skrill. Besides, this is notable, because recently Skrill adopted a new anti-scam policy according which all brokers using its services on regulated markets like EU or the USA should provide a legit license. As we already noted QcapitalForex does not have a license at all.

Also with a VISA or a MasterCard, if you get scammed you will be able to file for a charge back.

In any case if you want to pay with bitcoins here you may check our list of brokers accepting bitcoins as well:

>>Forex Brokers Accepting Bitcoin<<

Excessive minimum deposit requirement

QcapitalForex asks for a minimum deposit of at least 500 USD and that is simply excessive as most brokers require an initial investment of about 250 USD, while some big well established players like FBS and IG do not have a minimum deposit requirement at all.

MetaTrader4 not supported

This is another minus for QcapitalForex, because MetaTrader4 has become a standard in the forex industry and basically almost all brokers offer it to their clients. The platform has a user friendly interface, excellent charting package and numerous market indicators and trading bots, with which you can easily run automated trading sessions. Besides, here you may check our list of brokers, supporting MetaTrader4:

QcapitalForex is an anonymous, unregulated, binary options broker, which on top of that offers managed accounts and that basically sounds as a recipe for a scam. As always in such cases we will repeat our usual advice to deal only with brokers regulated by respectable institutions such as the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) or the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC). Besides, here you may check our list of FCA regulated brokers:
