RATING: 1 / 4 REVIEWS Invests360
Invests360 is an offshore broker. Your money is not safe.

* As announced on the broker's website. The spreads we saw on Invests360's MT4 were significantly higher.

Invests360 offers its clients a choice of 4 account types, three trading platforms and many tradeable instruments. However, we don’t recommend this forex and CFD broker. Read on to understand why.

Invests360 Advantages

3 different platforms

Invests360 offers trading on the good old MetaTrader 4, as well as on Leverate’s Sirix and Activ8 platforms. In our view, this is the main advantage of this broker, provided that it is not a scam.

Equipped with a number of technical indicators, advanced charting tools, extensive back-testing environment, and a wide range of Expert Advisors (EAs), the MT4 is preferred by most traders. Besides, this trading platform has proved to be reliable and easy to use.

The other two platforms are also good. Sirix is an all-in-one social trading platform that lets users configure lots and instruments they trade the most, allows one-click and copy trading. The platform also contains analysis tools, charts and graphs and provides news and economic calendar. Activ8, on the other hand, also offers a nice charting, as well as a ‘Strategies’ category that provides an array of EA/bots to choose from.

Up to 1:500 in leverage

Invests360 provides solid leverage levels, up to 1:500 on the Platinum accounts, which will suffice the needs of all types of traders. Yet, keep in mind that many jurisdictions have capped the leverage available for retail clients to significantly lower levels. This is due to the fact that higher leverage involves greater risk.

Wide range of CFDs, cryptos included

Another possible advantage of this broker is its rich product portfolio. Invests360 offers trading in over 40 major, minor & exotic currency pairs and various CFDs – on indices, commodities, precious metals, stocks, and some of the most popular cryptocurrencies.

Invests360 Disadvantages

An offshore broker

According to the information on its website, this broker is owned and operated by Invests360 Ltd, a company registered in St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). SVG is an offshore zone with lax taxes and no regulation for financial services providers, including forex brokers.

This means that clients of Invests360 have no guarantee for the safety of their investment. It is dependent solely on the good will of the people operating the broker. Given the fact that many offshore brokers are in fact running investment scams, potential clients of this brokerage may be open to substantial risk.

No demo accounts

Invests360 does not offer free testing service, which is greatly valued in the trading world. This is a worrisome sign, as it shows that the broker is not transparent about its services.

Spreads on platform significantly higher than announced

So, we had to open a real account (without depositing), and to our surprise, the spreads we saw on Invests360’s MT4 turned out to be significantly higher than those announced on its website. See for yourselves:

A spread of nearly 4 pips on EUR/USD is more than two times higher than what most forex brokers offer.

Unfavorable clauses in the Terms and Conditions

We also noticed some disturbing clauses in Invests360’s Terms and Conditions. Basically, by signing the broker’s T&C, the client acknowledges that the broker can close any of his or her trades or the entire account even without an advance notice.

Make sure you read those prior to signing up with any brokerage, as sometimes they are full of traps.

Conclusion

Invests360 is an offshore forex broker and is not authorized to operate in the EU, nor on any regulated market. The broker is not licensed, nor overseen by any governmental agency, which brings along significant risk for its clients.

Not that the fully regulated brokers are always entirely honest, but it is always better to do business with companies licensed by reputable financial regulators such as UK's FCA or the ASIC in Australia. Even if the regulated firms are dishonest, there are a lot of mechanisms in place that would protect their clients’ interests and money. Besides, there is also the consolation that these brokers will be punished.

Invests360 Scam

Hi, please do not go near this company, very high pressure to keep putting more funds in and you cannot withdraw any funds that you have left in the account. I have been trying for a week to withdraw funds, I have reported them to the ACCC, and will now try my bank for a chargeback. Noone is returning emails. I cannot believe I was taken for a fool. I had researched this company but there was no big alarm bells. They told us they had a office in Brisbane and one was soon to be opened in Darwin
