Crypto Options Trader Advantages:

Binary options with a number of crypto coins

If we can point out anything positive about Crypto Options Trader it is their selection of crypto coins, which are paired against USD, Euro, Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Opening a demo account we found a variety of coins, including QASH, Ethereum, Bitcoin, Datum, Bitcoin Gold, Eidoo, Aventus, Bitcoin SegWit2X, Bitfinex Bitcoin Future, Qtum, Metaverse, NEO, Bitcoin Cash, OmiseGo, Santiment Network Token, EOS, IOTA, Ripple, Dash, Zcahs, Monero,  Recovery Right Tokens, Ethereum Classic and Litecoin. Still, if you are into crypto assets, here you may check our list of brokers, offering Bitcoin CFDs:

Crypto Options Trader Disdvantages:

No regulation, no company name behind the broker

Crypto Options Trader is a website that is almost completely anonymous. There is no information about the company behind the broker. We do not know even its name, not to speak about its regulatory status.

Have in mind that all brokers offering services in Europe, USA, Australia and Japan are obliged to obtain a license by a local financial regulator.

A license by a legit financial watchdog such as the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) or the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) requires the respective broker to report regularly to the authority, to conduct external audits, to hold all clients money in a segregated, protected form creditors account, to keep a certain minimum operational capital and in some cases even to participate in a compensation schemes, guaranteeing the trading capital in the event of insolvency.

Under such a scheme, all traders with FCA regulated brokers are entitled to a compensation of up to 50 000 GBP of their trading capital, if their broker files for bankruptcy. Here you may check our list of FCA regulated brokers:

Besides, in early July the  European Securities and Markets Authority banned all binary options bets in the European Union, so all Crypto Options Trader operations in EU are completely illegal.

Uncompetitive payout

Payout, offered by Crypto Options Trader, is just 80% and that is below what is considered attractive, when betting with binary options brokers. Have in mind that an attractive payout starts form 85% and above. Also, here you may check our list of forex and CFD brokers, offering tighter spreads:

MetaTradcer4 not supported

Crypto Options Trader  offer a rather simplified web based trading platform, which lacks many features, standard with classic trading platforms like the MetaTrader4.

MT4 dominated the industry for the better part of the past decade. It has a user friendly and intuitive interface, excellent charting package, more than 50 in-build market indicators and supports automated trading sessions with the help of specially designed trading robots – Expert Advisors, which can be easily modified on a proprietary editor. Besides, here you may check our list of brokers, offering MetaTrader4 as well:

>>MT4 Brokers<<

No information about the payment methods

There is no information about the payment methods accepted by Crypto Options Trader.  Have in mind that most brokers accept payments with major credit or debit cards like VISA and MasterCard, popular e-wallets like Neteller and Skrill and of course bank wire. However, as all crypto assets are getting more and more popular, here you may check our list of brokers, accepting Bitcoins:

>>Forex Brokers Accepting Bitcoin<<

No information about the minimum deposit requirement

We were not able to find information about the minimum deposit requirement as well. Have in mind that with most brokers you can open a trading account with about 250 USD, but we should note that some big players like FBS and IG do not have a minimum deposit requirement at all.

Conclusion:

Crypto Options Trader is an anonymous website, with zero credibility, which most probably operates as a scam. As we already discussed, trading with unregulated brokers is associated with unreasonably high risk so our best advice is to choose form properly licensed brokers only.
