CryptoIQ Review - is it scam or safe?

CryptoIQ review - Is cryptoiq.co scam or good crypto robot?

RATING: 1 / 0 REVIEWS CryptoIQ
Beware! CryptoIQ is most probably a scam!

General information & Membership Plans

CryptoIQ is yet another shady company exploiting the frenzy around Bitcoin, and it is very probablе that it is one of the many crypto scams trying to swindle naive investors out of their money. Its website claims to offer cryptocurrency advisory and trading services, aiming to bring cryptocurrencies into the mainstream. The question is, is it safe to get involved in CryptoIQ?

Its website is nicely designed, and, as most similar services, contains a sort of promotional video. In the case of CryptoIQ, however, the video does not promise high and easy returns, but instead tells the story of its Co-Founder Charlie Shrem. The video itself is made by Freethink media and is pretty good, but what bothers us is the story itself. Mr. Shrem is a Bitcoin advocate who was sent to prison for 2 years for involvement in the Silk Road – an online darknet market for anonymously selling and buying drugs. We are all human and make mistakes, but why trust a man like that, who continues to operate in the same industry?

Now, let’s get back to CryptoIQ. The service seems to focus on education, claiming to offer “unparalleled insight from a team at the very epicenter of the Crypto universe”. Supposedly, it also provides some trading tools (only on the Inner Circle Plan).  Here are the two membership plans:

-Essentials plan for $69 per month;

-Inner Circle plan for $299 per month.

It looks like the Essentials plan only provides clients of CryptoIQ with some sample crypto portfolios, insights on market opportunities, BTC technical analysis, news and other educational materials. We wonder why would anyone pay for such information, when you can find it for free in the web.

The Inner Circle plan, on the other hand, supposedly offers access to cryptocurrency trading signals provided by the CryptoIQ team, many indicators, trade alerts, coin reports, and more.

Any verified track record?

Like most other crypto trading robots, CryptoIQ has provided no explanation on the algorithm of the system, nor any sort of guarantee that their services, which are by no means low cost, will indeed help their clients become successful crypto investors.

We must note that other copy-trading platforms, such as the ones offered by eToro, provide proven track records of historical performance. Such transparency adds significant assurance and measures the risk.

Disclaimer

We’d like to draw your attention to another, even more alarming fact: the disclaimer uploaded on CryptoIQ’s website, which pretty much contradicts all the information contained in it. In essence, they are saying that their services do not constitute an investment advice or investment analysis. On top of that, CryptoIQ admits that the company, its contributors and affiliates “may have a financial interest in one or more of the tokens mentioned…”

So, in case CryptoIQ is not a pure scam, there is a built-in potential for conflict of interest.

Regulation and Safety of Funds

CryptoIQ is allegedly owned by Crypto Insider, LLC, a Florida-based company, which is not regulated by any financial institution. Investing in unregulated investment firms is very risky, as they are free to do what they like with their clients’ funds.

That is why it is best to deal only with financial services providers licensed by reputable financial authorities. If you are into Bitcoin, you’d better trade it on a regulated crypto-exchange or with a licensed broker.
