AJ AssetManagement Review - is it scam or safe?

AJ AssetManagement review - Is ajassetmanagement.com scam or good forex broker?

RATING: 1 / 1 REVIEWS ForexBrokerz AJ AssetManagement
AJ AssetManagement is an offshore broker. Your money is not safe.

RECOMMENDED FOREX BROKERS

AJ AssetManagement is presented as a “trusted platform for cryptocurrency trading”, which also offers forex pairs and CFDs on precious metals and other assets. And AJ AssetManagement says to be based in London the UK, but as their website is supported in Italian and French as well, obviously they are focused on the broader European market.

Unfortunately, the AJ AssetManagement website is not regulated by the relevant financial authorities, as it should be, and what is even more worrisome it is virtually anonymous – there is no corporate information whatsoever.

On top of that AJ AssetManagement has come in to the focus of a recent investigation by the Italian financial regulator – CONSOB, which has blacklisted  AJ AssetManagement for targeting Italian customers without proper authorization and possibly running a scam. If you are still considering whether to invest with AJ AssetManagement better read the following review.

AJ AssetManagement Advantages:

We usually do our best to list any possible advantages a broker might offer its clients, but here with AJ AssetManagement there are simply non.

AJ AssetManagement Disadvantages:

Anonymous website, blacklisted by CONSOB

To start with AJ AssetManagement is virtually anonymous – as we noted, there is no corporate information whatsoever, just a UK address and an Italian phone number – we are not told the name of the company that runs the business, nor where it is incorporated.

And what is even more disturbing, as it turned out AJ AssetManagement are already blacklisted by the Italian financial regulator, CONSOB, as potential scammers. You can see the CONSOB warning here:

Bear in mind that trading with unregulated brokers has always been extremely risky, becasue they are completely unaccountable for the way they handle your funds and as a rule tend to be involved in scam.

So our advice here is to avoid unregulated websites like AJ AssetManagement  altogether and to trade only with properly regulated brokers, holding official licenses, issued by well known and reliable institutions like the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK, the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) or the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).

And because with a FCA broker your money will even be covered by a client compensation fund, basically insuring the first 85 000 GBP in your balance, here you may also check our list of UK regulated brokers:

>>FCA Regulated Forex Brokers<<

No Terms and Conditions

The Client Agreement or the Terms and Conditions is a key legal document that establishes the relations between a trader and a broker. With legit brokers customers can always download and read the Terms and Conditions from the broker's website.

No where on the AJ AssetManagement website were we able to find such an agreement, so if you do decide to open a trading account with them you will have to agree with something you have not read.

No demo account

AJ AssetManagement says to offer CFDs on a number of crypto coins, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, Dash, Litecoin, Ripple and Monero, as well as fiat currency pairs and precious metals. Unfortunately we were not able to confirm this as we were not able to open a demo account.

That is the reason as well why we can not comment on the AJ AssetManagement spreads and trading conditions in general. So here you may check instead our list of brokers offering tighter spreads:

>> Lowest spread forex brokers<<

MetaTrader4 not supported

AJ AssetManagement seems to offer some kind of a web based trading platform, which we were no able to test as the website does not offer the option to open a demo account. In any case we do miss the MetaTrader4 – the most widely used trading platform on the market, featuring well over 60 customizable market indicators and trading robots, especially designed to help you run automated trading sessions.

And the platform also comes with an advanced set of user friendly charting tools, which is yet another reason for you to check our list of brokers, offering the MT4:

>>MT4 Brokers<<

No information about the payment methods

Just keep in mind that most legit brokers accept payments with credit cards like VISA and MasterCard, bank wire and popular e-wallets like Neteller and Skrill. Here you may check our list of brokers, where you can use Skrill to fund your account:

>>Brokers accepting Skrill<<

No information about the minimum deposit requirement

And this is yet another piece of information we miss. Bear in mind that with most brokers you will be able to start trading with about 250 USD, while with some big and well established companies like FBS and IG you can open a trading account with just 5 USD or even less.

Conclusion:

AJ AssetManagement  is an anonymous, unregulated website, which has already been flagged as a potential scam by the financial regulator in Italy. As always in such cases our best advise is to avoid unregulated brokers altogether and to trade only with legit ones, licensed and authorized by well known institutions like the FCA in the UK, CySEC in Cyprus or ASIC in Australia.
