Acy Securities is an Australian forex brokerage. It holds an ASIC license and offers its clients a choice of three account types, all of which have attractive trading conditions. Furthermore, the broker also supports an extensive educational department with trading courses, webinars and a variety of advanced educational tools. Below, you can find more details about the company behind Acy Securities and its offer.

Acy Securities Advantages

Licensed in Australia

Acy Securities is an Australian based forex broker, regulated by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC). The brand was launched after the Acy Group acquired Australian broker Synergy FX. The previous brokerage brand of the group, Acy Capital, also appears operational (www.acyfx.com).

ASIC requires licensed financial services providers to meet strict capital requirements and to implement stringent internal procedures including risk management, staff training, accounting and audits. The regulator also requires all client funds to be held at fully segregated client trust accounts, so that it is guaranteed that this money will not be used to pay back creditors, if a licensed broker becomes insolvent.

The broker is also a member of the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) - an approved Australian external dispute resolution scheme that can deal with complaints about all of the financial services that ACY provides under its Australian Financial Services License

Competitive spreads, generous leverage

Australia is the last major regulatory hub, where leverage is not yet capped for retail investors. As a result, most Aussie brokers offer leverage as high as 1:500, and Acy Securities is no exception to that. Leverage ratios as high as this will allow clients of this broker to open large positions by depositing just $100 (the minimum investment required by Acy Securities for live trading). Keep in mind, however, that the higher the leverage you use, the greater the risk of loss.

Besides, the broker’s spreads on all account types are good – even on the most basic stpECN. Those willing to invest $2,000 can trade the EUR/USD for less than 1 pip, commission included, which is a really attractive pricing. For further information and comparison, you can always check the conditions offered by some of the best brokers.

Trading on the MT4, good selection of assets

The broker offers 60 trading products on the ever-popular MetaTrader 4 platform, and that is another strong selling point of Acy Securities. Its product portfolio includes currency pairs, CFDs on indices, commodities, precious metals and several cryptocurrencies - Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash.

The MT4 is popular among brokers for its ease of use, functionality and lightness. It has one of the best charting packages, but probably the most prominent MT4 feature is the automated trading, known as Expert Advisors (EAs).

Acy Securities Disadvantages

No stock CFDs (yet)

This is not a major flaw, yet we decided to mention it. Traders willing or used to trading in CFDs on stocks and ETFs will be disappointed from Acy Securities, because these trading products are not available on the broker’s MT4.

Probably stock CFDs will be offered at Acy Securities once the broker launches trading on the MetaTrader5.
