Opened up a Spread betting account with FXCM and on the whole found the platform easy and reliable to use, timely execution, have never experienced noticeable slippage, and the customer support is good aswell.
The only problem i have is that though their spreads can be very low they tend to fluctuate quite wildly, and as a consequence deals have been stopped out which wouldnt have been on my old account at IG (whos spreads are pretty much constant). Which is a shame because i prefer the Tradestation and 'no dealing desk' aspect of FXCM.
Overall tho they dont suit my particular strategy i would say FXCM are a great broker, and recommend you try out their Tradestation demo.
