I have been trading with FXCM/MT4 for a month.
In one month , I doubled my account which is less than 10K to begin with.(I am a Quant developer )
Slippages: Yes some times I observed them , it's like 30% of time.But that's not deliberate.It's natural for market orders to have slippage.The slippage is upto 3 pips.
I observed the same sort of slippage with Alpari US too , (upto 2 pips)
MT4 connection loss:It happened 2 or 3 times , each time for few seconds.
I am no way affiliated with FXCM .This is my honest review.
If you expect tight spreads and don't use EA , better use their trading station platform.
If you are looking for a good broker , use FXCM or Alpari.Both are good.
