XM, the leading Forex broker, has recently launched its own Contest Arena, a set of various Forex competitions with a prize pool of whooping $500,000. The endeavor is actually revolutionary – in a one-of-a-kind series of 1,000 competitions to be held in just 10 days, clients of the broker with real MT4 accounts can test their trading capabilities.

You must be curious about the terms of the competitions: here is the best part – traders determine the terms. That's right, as you get to decide about:

- the duration of the contest (from fifteen minutes to several days);
- the ticket, i.e., whether the contest participation is free or paid;
- regarding the latter, you decide how expensive ticket you can afford;
- the trading instruments;
- use of expert advisors;
- the type of the competition; it can be a duel (a trader vs another trader) or a race (for the most aggressive traders) or some of the other kinds on the list.

As you can see, the choice is entirely in your own hands – in this respect, the Contest Arena differs markedly from the arenas where gladiators fought in ancient times. They did not have the right to choose, nor were they rewarded with anything else but their lives (that was also up to the crowd). The fierceness of the battles, however, is the same, as the zeal to win remains.

If you'd like to participate you should complete three simple steps. First you need to open a real Metatrader 4 account with the broker – existing owners of such accounts may skip this step. Once you have your our Login and Password for the XM Members Area, you can pick a Contests Nickname. The next step is to log in to the Contests Arena.

Then it's up to you to select the contests according to your preferences. Do the best shopping, fellow traders, as this can bring you some actual cash. That's right – the prizes can be easily withdrawn from your trading accounts.

If you're displeased with our overview of the contest, you may explore the guide by XM here.
