Hi, i disagree with the ratings above, i have been with Windsor for a just under a year now and i have had excellent service. i agree with Kepros re the advantages. The customer service is excellent and with live chat you recieve a response to all your questions immediately. i opened an account and was up and trading within a day.
I opened an account with this company around 3 weeks ago and finally decided to close it due to the following reasons:
1- high spreads especially during the asian session
2- slippage all the time on stop loss orders. My god these people do not stop giving u slippage even on 1 pip!
3- the worst customer service i ever encountered. they even promised me of a 'greek' speaking customer service, but everytime i call i get the romanian answering the phone, with broken english and have no clue about anything.
I am not sure how these guys got 4 star rating but they are one of the worst I have tried for 2 reasons-
1. They apparently remove your stop losses EVERY DAY- I got an email acting like this was normal and acceptable when I asked what happened to my stops!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2. They have removed the trailing stop feature from metatrader!
I've been using the Windsor Direct MT4 demo platform for about a week now. Nearly everytime I place an order...I get requoted...not once, but sometimes four or five times! It's almost funny, except for I know there are people experiencing this with a live account. Absolutely crazy!
I have been trading on a live account with this broker for nearly a year. Trading EUR/USD is not a problem but have seen spreads on other currencies like GBP/USD go to 20 plus pips. Requotes are often. Website is pretty average in terms of information and news feed to MT4 is thin. Customer service is not bad but they can get aggressive if you disagree with them. So not great either. Other than that no major problems.
I have been trading with them for 2months, Very professional customer support, Reliable platform and very fast execution.
What I like most is their low margins crude oil and dowjones in addition to stop out level. The account is only stopped out if the margin level reaches 5% which is a grate flexibility.
They allow hedging and even on stop out they do not close positions they hedge which allows me to support my account and unhide profiting position.
Their online account opining is very easy and I can fund my account via Credit Card. Spread on forex is reasonable and stable most of the times. I would recommend them to any professional and even beginners.
