ATC Brokers offer instant execution. You can control slippage and place market orders along with stop and target levels. But ATC doesn't quote the prices as market makers do, they use STP to process the order via ECN to the market. Their LP is FXCM so I guess your orders get matched with 1) banks connected to FXCM liquidity pool and 2) clients of ATC, FXCM and maybe even Deutsche Bank retail (dbfx.com). But the last is my speculation only.
I'm trading live with them for a short period of time to make ultimate judgements but I have made almost 200 trades with market orders already and the execution is really awesome; I have slippage set to 1 pip (yes, one pip) and I was filled on ALL the orders almost immediately (within a second); no "requotes" - I think they don't have requotes implemented at all. Everything ATC does seems to be focused on speed. You have to qualify before getting your real account allowed to trade; the qualification procedure includes setting the MT4 bar count (chart/history) to lower than default figures, turning of the feed for unused currency pairs, MQL compliance requirements for EAs (they don't allow for more than 1 request per second) and a speed test of your internet connection.
Have to make a correction to my former post here; the commission is ALWAYS $8 standard lot RT, regardless of currency pair.
I recently opened my first live account and after a very comprehensive consideration I decided to go with ATC Brokers. And I can tell it was a great decision.
Technically perfect - I was a little bit skeptical to any MT4 ECN solution but ATC's execution on a real account works like charm. Haven't had ANY problems at all; already placed over 150 trades (market orders with stop loss preset).
I'm scalping EURUSD, sometimes with a very very tight stop (4-6 pips) to get good risk/reward ratio. So slippage and/or some kind of nastiness like stop hunting is critical to my trading style; it is one of those styles that might work well on demo but in reality it gets killed by execution issues.
But with ATC, there are NO such issues. Fills on market orders are very fast (well under 1 second). There is no considerable slippage even for a scalper. No problem with stops filling at all. In fact, I have seen the price going to my stop as near as ONE tenth of a pip, reverse and continue in my direction. Nearly no spread widening during news (!) - and you get filled (!!)
Their support is superb. I had a technical problem installing their chat application (they require you to run it when trading to be in touch all the time). Alex was of great help for me; he connected to my PC via remote desktop and together we fixed it. I'm really happy to have such support on my side; it's not a common thing nowadays.
I'm talking superlatives here and that might be suspicious but I'm really really not in any relationship with them other than a client. And a very happy one. The last thing I have to do personally is to improve my own trading; if it won't go well, I can blame only myself and not the broker since I'm with ATC. I think this is a great thing to know about for every seriously thinking trader, especially if he's making his first steps live.
Alex told me they will improve the already very high standard continually and I do believe him. They are doing a great job.
Although I can say I am trading veteran with 13 years of trading experience, I made very few posts on various forums.
After trading through ATC for a year I must post here.
They absolute deserving 5 stars and I claim they are one of very few brokers you can seriously trade with.
I worked with many brokers - more than 20 - and any broker is good for some purpose, but trading for living serious account I have no doubt - ATC - most honest broker I worked with and best support ever - not just compared to other brokers......
So 6 stars rating.

I have been trading with them for last 6 years. never a complain.
They go an extra mile to make sure you are taken care of.
I am trading with ATC for a month now and I have to say, it is a very reliable broker.
I have a good feeling with them because the support is good, the liquidity is quite good and the withdrawal was no problem.
The commission from Germany is 10$ not 8$ but that is ok because spreads are very good, usually 1 Pip better than Alpari, for example.
I've been live with ATC for almost a year now and have no complaints.
Commissions seem fair, spreads are low and execution is fast.
Because these guys act as a proxy between me and FXCMUK, they are able to catch any funny business. In the last month or so, I had a couple positions orphaned (not sure of the technical term or what the exact issue was) and Dave at ATC caught it immediately, closed out the positions, and opened a refund case with FXCM on my behalf for which I was refunded ~$175.
In a year, that's the only strange occurence I've seen and it simply strengthened my confidence in ATC.
I run almost parallel MT4 environments with ATC and a non-ECN broker and am profitable only with ATC.

Amazing broker! I was trading with MB Trading for a long time and they are a very honest broker, but as of late reliability and execution has become a serious issue. I was looking for another broker and I will only go ECN (because I'm smart) and had narrowed it down to ATC or Dukascopy.
Am I ever glad I went with ATC.
Account Opening: The account opening process was a bit of a hassle having to deal with FXCM (their accounts are held with them) but overall it went not too badly.
Trading: The execution of their MT4 platform is the best I have ever experienced (better than MBT used to be) and their spread is the best in the business.
Customer Support: Amazing!! Great live chat service, and they even have a program you download which will connect you directly to live chat anytime you need help. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff.
Don't let the fact that they use FXCM's data feed fool you. They have all of their own servers and technology - and rumor is they have something big in the works in terms of liquidity. Every broker should look to ATC and use them as a standard.
We were recently approached by the owner of ATC Brokers, who invited us to try out their ECN/STP MetaTrader 4 platform.
As with other ECN/STP brokers, it was necessary to rip out the dealing desk applications in MetaTrader to allow direct market access from third-party liquidity providers. The result is a trading platform that is stable, with extremely small spreads and a commission of $8 per trade when trading one standard lot.
The minimum account size is $5,000. Mini contracts are supported and you have the ability to trade micro lots beyond the mini lot size 0.10 (10,000) - for example, you can trade 0.12 or 1.89. Leverage is fixed at the most I would personally go for - 100:1.
Execution is fast and we like the fact that you can partially close orders when in profit (not all MT4 brokers allow this). In addition, the customer service is top notch and account opening quick and straight forward.
Client funds are segregated and trades are not bound by the new NFA FIFO rules, meaning scalping, hedging and all other trading activities are permitted.
One of the most important things I look for in a broker is a telephone number and someone picking up the phone quickly. The last thing I want is an emergency (e.g. Internet goes down) and not being able to speak to someone. ACT passed this test with flying colours.
The only thing I do not like about this broker is the five digit pricing – I find this very difficult to use when designing trading systems (which I spend a lot of time doing).
However, for trading, this is a great platform and one we can strongly recommend.
I have been with ATC for just over 1 year now and so far extremely impressed with their service and attention to detail. I really feel that ATC Brokers want me to succeed in my trading and not "out to get me" like some brokers I could mention.
They have an excellent chat support tool that you are given when you set up your account, this means any order issues can get attention immediately. I have had a couple of account issues due to errors from FXCM, these were both solved by ATC who were very quick to call me following the registering of my issue on chat and resolved.
When I set up my account you are not just given your MT4 password and left to it like most brokers. ATC actively go through your settings, check which EA's you are using, ping times to your MT4 installation and make sure you are getting the best performance from the start.
If you want a true ECN broker that provides a service second to none, please look no further.
I have been using ATC since September 2009 and have been very pleased overall.
I run a variety of EA's on their MT4 platform and I have not had any problems with executions or fills, that I know of.
I did have one EA that ATC banned because it had no error handling and was pounding their server every few milliseconds even though the server was issuing a "busy" signal.
The guys told me what the EA should do in response to various server responses and I added the error handling code. After that the EA worked fine.
Whenever I've had questions the ATC staff has been extremely responsive.
ATC Brokers are ECN and offer some of the best spreads of ANYBODY!!!
The customer service is over the top good.
Their is NO markup on the spread (thats why the spreads are so low) and only $8 per 100K commission no matter the pair traded (other ECN's factor in the Currency price which can make the commission increase/decrease).
Minimum lotsize is 0.10 and micro increments are allowed (0.10, 0.11, 0.12, etc..) - If you want to stop playing market maker games and trade with a ECN that processes orders without delay, requotes or platform freezes ATC is the only game in town.
Another bonus - The price feed is from FXCM-UK so you have Hedge and LIFO with a USA NFA licensed Broker - Who's better than that!?
